CNET.com gives an excellent review to Dell's new Latitude D630. The D630 has a long list of good qualities including; long-lasting nine-cell battery; sturdy construction; bright display; comfortable keyboard; corporate-level security (i.e.fingerprint reader), including smart card reader; WWAN available as an option; lengthy three-year warranty. The list of shortcomings was small, things like it was heavy for a thin-and-light notebook; native screen resolution makes icons and text look small; fingerprint reader decreases mouse button size.
There is a wide range of options depending on your needs. Prices start at $899 and the model CNET.com tested was just over $1900.
